BMW & MINI Specialists
BMW CODING & FIXES
Alongside the usual feature unlocking, we handle the BMW and MINI jobs owners ask for most — CarPlay activation, xDrive mode coding and iDrive head unit repairs.
Apple CarPlay Activation
Activate Apple CarPlay on compatible BMW and MINI head units — including full-screen CarPlay — with no extra hardware fitted.
- NBT Evo, Entrynav & Entrynav2 units
- Full-screen CarPlay where supported
- Wireless pairing kept as factory
RWD Mode Coding
Enable rear-wheel-drive (2WD) mode on compatible xDrive models, so the front axle can be disengaged when you want it.
- Only on models that support it
- Selectable from the driving modes
- Fully reversible
iDrive Reboot Fix
Head unit stuck in a reboot loop, black screen or frozen? We diagnose and repair iDrive software faults rather than replacing the unit.
- Reboot loop & black screen diagnosis
- Head unit software reflash
- Fault codes read and cleared

How It Works
THE PROCESS
Consultation
Tell us your vehicle and what you would like enabled. We confirm exactly what is possible on your model and year before any work starts.
Backup & Coding
We read the relevant modules, save your original values, then apply the coding using manufacturer-level software.
Verify & Demo
Every change is tested with you before you leave, and any fault codes created during the process are cleared.
Common Questions
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is car coding?
Car coding changes the software settings inside your vehicle's control modules. It lets us switch on features that were built into the car but turned off for your market or trim level, without adding any physical parts.
Will coding affect my warranty or damage my car?
Coding uses the manufacturer's own software and only changes configuration values, not the underlying firmware. We back up your original settings before we start, so everything can be reverted. If your car is still under manufacturer warranty, we are happy to talk through any concerns before work begins.
Which brands do you cover?
We specialise in BMW and MINI, the Volkswagen Group (Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Skoda and Cupra) and Mercedes-Benz. If you drive something else, get in touch — we can usually still help with diagnostics.
How long does coding take?
Most single-feature changes take around 20 to 30 minutes. Larger packages or retrofit activations can take one to two hours. We will confirm a timeframe when you book.
Can coding be reversed?
Yes. We save your original module data before making any changes, so any coding can be returned to factory settings on request.
Is every feature available on every car?
Not always. What can be enabled depends on your model, year and the hardware fitted. We check this for your specific vehicle during the consultation so you know exactly what you are getting.
